Alicia Duque became a Graduate Gemologist through the Gemological Institute of America after completing her degree in Architectural Design from Parsons the New School for Design. She started in the jewelry industry over 15 years ago when she moved to New York City and discovered her favorite block, the Diamond District on 47th street. After years of honing her experience in the jewelry realm working with large national retailers as well as smaller, family-owned shops and consulting for independent, talented designers, Alicia now advises private clients building their jewelry collections with custom jewelry design, stone sourcing and appraising.  She's particularly interested in social enterprise and artisan crafts in the jewelry space.

Alicia resides in Dallas, TX with her husband and three sons.
